Harry's 2-lb B-52 on a special bun

How's this for a 'two handed' burger.
It's available at Harry's in Lakeville. Just ask for the B-52. It's 2-one lb patties on a 'special bun'.        Reported by MarkE

Note from MarkE to those that showed up at his birthday party:

Thank you everybody for coming and celebrating my 30th birthday with me.  Sorry we were late [thanks to someone in Yvonne's family].  It was a great turn out; hope to see everyone soon. No ride credits were issued due to lack of motorcycles.

Paul Young sent in this sad note on 13 Feb 2010:

Davey Markuson passed away Wednesday Feb. 10th.
He suffered a heart attack while shoveling snow.

I met Davey through the West Bank Motorcycle Club 25 years ago and he's been a good friend all the way.

From the WBMC:   We will miss you Davey...
Davey has been a member since 1985 and rode BMW's

West Bankers seen wielding knives around 3 little pigs

It started out innocently enough at Don's Little Bar. A small group celebrating a birthday while watching the Vikings kick butt on the 4 TV's lining the room.

The excitement of the Vikings win may have triggered the following, unexpected, events that occurred in an undisclosed location. Events too graphic to put into words.

Pictures so graphic you may want to run out to the local farm to adopt a couple of little pigs to save them from a similar fate. Only Look Here if you have a strong stomach

From Mark & Jenelle:

In case some were not aware our good friend Eddie James passed away in a motorcycle accident on Dec 6th, 2009.   The following is from his fiancé Lisa Erbes:

We have finalized plans for a Celebration of Eddie’s life for his friends & family in Minneapolis on Sat. Feb. 6th.

We are taking care of getting this info posted on the TeamStrange web site but I ask each of you to please share this with any & everyone who may want to join us – that would include getting it posted on the IBA, LD Riders, ADV Riders, MMM, and any other places where it is appropriate to let people know.

I have tried to include as many folks on this email as I have addresses for but I’m sure I’ve left out someone.

Hope to see you in Minneapolis on the 6th!        <The Flyer>

Pretty good turn out for the 1st Wednesday at Whiskey Junction.  Pretty sure it was 20 to 25 that made a showing - and then rapidly disappeared by about 9:30.

Milo took plenty of pictures with his new camera. <more>

Finally got SteveF's I-Cycle Derby pictures on photo page

Coming up is  the 1st - 1st Wednesday at the Junction.
Jan 6th should be a little warmer so how about coming on down (or up) to Whiskey Junction.    Anyone?

West Bank Motorcycle Club red-dot divider

Be sure to reserve time on Feb 5th to 7th to wander around the Minneapolis Convention Center to salivate over shiny new motorcycles and farkles you can purchase so you and your ride will stand out from the crowd. FFI: 800-331-5706 or motorcycleshows.com

Everyone - Listen up (yes, you)  --  How about we start something just a bit different:
Road Captains should still submit a ride report detailing the route, anything you feel would be noteworthy for your ride and maybe a few words of why you chose this route and destination.
Now for the interesting part: Would someone (or two or three) on the rides send in a paragraph or three on what you saw on the ride, your views and/or opinion & maybe a picture or two. It doesn't seem fair to leave this up to the Road Captains all of the time. This is especially true if the ride was really good - most people have a hard time 'blowing their own horn' to tell everyone how good 'their' ride was. Lets show our appreciation of the Road Captains efforts by putting a little effort forth to let them know we appreciate the work that goes into leading a good ride...
