Club OfficersAll club officers will be nominated at the Road Captain / 20 ride members meetings. There can be more than one nomination for each officer position. Officers should be from the RC’s / 20 rider members. They will be voted in office at the general membership meeting. Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for the Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Ambassadors, Safety Director, and the Web Master. The Treasurer is responsible for the 20 Ride/RC and General membership meetings to be held in the spring. Also that the 1st and 2nd half ride schedules are completed. First by the first ride and 2nd before the 4th of July. He/she is also responsible for the running of the club, and will ultimately be responsible for WBMC monies being used. Secretary: The Secretary is responsible for keeping track of the ride credits and seeing that ride schedules are being filled as much as possible. He/she is responsible for tallying credit from year to year for various patches and awards. Also to take notes at meetings. The Secretary would also be the second in command. If for any reason the Treasurer is unable to perform His/Her duties the Secretary will be available to take over those duties. Responsible to the Treasurer. Newsletter Editor: Editor will be responsible for the writing, and mailing of the monthly newsletter to the current Members and Sponsors. All ads are to be standard business card size. The WBMC will be responsible for the cost involved with printing and stamps. Responsible to the Treasurer. Webmaster: The Webmaster will be responsible for our web page www.WestBankMC.org . To post information about our club, and the club activities. The WebMaster is also responsible for our E-group mail list, Sponsors Ads and links. Adding and subtracting information from the web site as need on a timely basis. The WebMaster will work with the club Officers. Responsible to the Treasurer. Safety Director: Duties will be to respond to complaints about riding behavior. He/she will inform the offending rider of the proper WBMC riding style in a non-confrontational manner. If further problems continue refer them to the Treasurer. Responsible to the Treasurer. Help in creating any safety documents. Make safety recommendations to the WBMC. Tally mileage for the high mileage award. Ambassadors: There should be 3 to 4 people in this office. Their duties will be to visit the sponsors before the first ride to encourage them to sponsor the WBMC for the upcoming season, and to collect sponsor fees along with a business card to be published in our monthly newsletter along with information and/or links to be put on our web site at www.WestBankMC.org. The information is to be returned to the Treasurer without delay so it may be sent to the Newsletter Editor and the WebMaster. Fees will be determined at the 20 Ride/RC meetings. The ambassadors may also be asked to make calls on potential sponsors. When an ambassador is at a sponsor or prospective sponsor they should ask if some WBMC brochures can be left for the sponsors customers to receive. Before the year end banquet the Ambassadors will be asked to return to our sponsors for door prizes to be given out at our year end banquet. Ambassadors will greet new riders, give them a WBMC brochure and answer any questions they may have so they will feel comfortable with the Club and how we ride. It is also expected that the ambassadors introduce the new members to others club members. Responsible to the Treasurer. | ||
